The ruins of an old stone building within Dapeng Fortress, which was built over 600 years ago as a point of protection against Japanese pirates. Dapeng Fortress is great example of a Ming Dynasty military camp, and is best known for being the site of the British naval attacks of September 4, 1839 (considered the beginning of the Opium Wars).
